Erasmus Mundus (NanoFar) Scholarships

Background: The Nano-Far is an Erasmus Mundus program for a three-year PhD thesis, co-supervised by two different partner intuitions including a one-year mobility period, aims to provide the highest level of scientific curriculum, complementary skills and culture. Nano-Far accommodates 10 to 15 new PhD students in every year from EU and third countries.

         Catholic University of Louvain, Belgium

Eligibility:

1.  Candidates must have a Master Degree in the field of Nano-medicine, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Medical Sciences, Physico-Chemistry, Applied Biology, Chemical Engineering or Bio-Engineering, or equivalent.

2.      Candidates are needed to provide all suitable information supportive their ability to apply and complete a doctoral program with excellent academic record, professional experience and qualification, motivation letter and letters of recommendation.

3.      Candidates are needed to prove their proficiency in English.

Application procedure

1. The document needed to complete the application.

1    2. A detailed curriculum vita in English, with scientific and professional experiences, academic degrees, research publications and other skills skills. Euro pass CV template can be downloaded from.

2    3.  An international passport or identification card.

3        4. Certified and transcript copy of academic degree(s) in original languages. The certificates must be translated in English

4    5. Letter of Motivation in English focusing the reason of applying and what made the candidate decide to apply to NanoFar Doctorate, which skills and abilities make the applicant a good candidate for NanoFar, motivations to carry out research abroad, professional interests.

5    6.  Two reference letters signed by a university professional.
