Background:

The doctoral program is offered in Civil and Environmental Engineering (EDCE) to encourage the PhD students for an educational visit for an external analysis.

University of Geneva Offering Graduate PhD Student / PhD Fellowship, Switzerland


Background

University of Geneva, Department for Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry, have a gap for Graduate Fellowship to figure on a project that on direct force measurements between colloidal particles.
The research is Primarily experimentally oriented and depends on state-of-the-art experimental tools, specifically, colloidal probe atomic force microscopy (AFM).

Eligibility

Masters or diploma in chemistry, Physics, or chemical engineering 
Enthusiasm for top-quality analysis and teaching is necessary

Nanyang President's Graduate Scholarship, 2012-2013

The Nanyang Technological University offers some prestigious scholarships for the graduates and the post graduates students. Nanyang President's Graduate Scholarship (NPGS) is one of those scholarship schemes designed to encourage scholars from different countries and universities.
Eligibility:              
Anyone can apply but preference will be given to Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents.
Eligibility criteria:
You must
  • have a First Class Honours degree or equivalent at Bachelor's level  and
  • the documents from the university must be submitted if you have not yet completed your undergraduate degree program.  
Award Values:
  • Full tuition fees
  • Monthly stipend of $3200
  • Conference allowance for two major overseas conferences in the 4-year period
  • One-time IT allowance of $1500
  • Annual grant of $500 for journal subscription or book purchase
  • Thesis preparation allowance
  • Priority will be given for subsidised campus accommodation
